Dixie is a very high energy, full blooded catahoula. She has no aggression whatsoever. She is not spayed and needs to have her rabies shot. She is very frieindly and loving in her personailty. Claire is a little 4 month old hound female. She is sweet and timid
and will have all her shots, spayed and Frontline and ready to go to her
new home. She longs to curl up at your side and be your new compamnion,
she longs for love.

This little boy is Moses, 4 months old, very sweet and friendly. He
will be neutered tomorrow, chipped has had his shots, Frontline and
bathed and groomed, ready to go by the end of the week. He loves to
please you and is full of energy. he will need a fenced yard and lots of
love.

She's been spayed, had a set of shots, starting to come out of her shell. She likes to play catch with the tennis ball. When she first came into the shelter, she would cringe and crawl on the floor and urinate. What a change! It is a miracle!
The vet's office staff reports she is very sweet and will go anywhere the tennis ball goes. She loves to play!
Here she is at Dr. Hobbs, in the outdoor run. She is moving to a boarding kennel in Limestone, Tn this weekend, along with Claire and Moses.

Claire , hound mix, is 4-5 months old and staying in a boarding kennel in Limestone, TN. She is healthy, although she had kennel cough and losing weight when I pulled her. Her mother, Maybelline was eating all the food. Claire is very friendly, gets along with all the dogs and plays with my friends homeschool children at the ranch. She's had shots, Frontline, spayed, wormed. Very sweet and loving personality, learning to walk on the leash and follow commands.

Johnny Blaze is a 3 month old black and gray with white feet male Blue Heeler/Labrador Mix. The Bleu de Gascogne first found it’s way to the U.S. from France in the 18th century as a gift from Lafayette to Washington. Their temperament is easygoing and fun loving though slightly reserved at first they warm-up quickly and get along with most everyone, (Breed – Scenthound). The Heeler is a breed of working dog generally associated with the herding dog class. The Labrador Retriever bred as a hunter and water retriever was developed from the Newfoundlands and other select gun dogs in the early nineteenth century. By the mid-nineteenth century it was a distinct breed. Currently considered the most popular companion dog in the United States it is still used for hunting, search and rescue, detection, and many types of service work. The Lab, as it is frequently referred to, is enthusiastic, social, and biddable, even-tempered and friendly with almost everyone including children and other animals.

Jackie and Lily are two catahoula mixes in a foster home in east TN. They
are 9 months old, already spayed and had all their shots and Frontline,
and supposed to be starting on HEartworm protection. They have been
outside dogs all their lives.They were rescued from a cruelty case in East Ridge,
TN. We got them in May. They live on the lake, and Dixie Lou is with them also.
They all get along well together, love to play and foster mom takes them on walks
every day. They get along with her small dog also. They are not aggressive, Lily
does like to protect her toys and that is normal for catahoulas. They all need a
forever home soon!

Dixie is a little gal that I rescued from our local shelter about a month ago. As you can see from the post below, she has been moved around alot. She desperately wants to find someone to love her. She would have been pts if I had not rescued her.She is very energetic, likes to run and play. I have not tested her with little children, but she gets along famously with my other dogs. She rides well in the car and lies very still. She is getting training daily with leash walks with her new foster mom. I would be glad to pay for her to have obedience training if that would help to get her adopted. She learns fast and wants to please her owners so bad. She does not try to compete with the other two dogs in the household, two catahoula mix females, a little younger than her.

She is an 8 week old hound gal. Scared to death when she was
pulled from the shelter last week. In a nice foster home, will have to
be given shots and spayed prior to being adopted. She is very friendly
and in a foster home with other dogs, including small dogs and large
dogs and gets along with them all. She needs a home desperately!
