Foster/Volunteer Agreement

 

 

1. I agree that the animal(s) I am fostering remain the sole property of Blackjack Animal Rescue.

 

2 . I agree to provide the animal(s) with humane and loving care, including food, shelter, water, socialization, clean conditions, and medication when needed.

 

3. I agree to comply with the foster home health and immunization schedule, and work cooperatively with the rescue and transport animal(s) to vet appointments.

 

 

3. I will comply with all instructions of Blackjack Animal Rescue as to the care and maintenance of said animal(s).

 

3. Except in an emergency, I will not take said animal(s) to the veterinarian without verbal or written consent of Blackjack Animal Rescue. I will call Blackjack Animal Rescue as soon as possible in an emergency.

 

3. I agree to authorize Blackjack Animal Rescue to inspect the housing amd care of foster animals in my care and will present such animals to an authorized BAR member upon demand.

 

 

3. I agree to properly supervise foster care animals at all times.

 

 

3. This agreement is not transferable. If I am unable to care for the foster animal(s), I will immediately return the animal to Blackjack Animal Rescue. I understand and acknowledge that I do not have any right or authority to place the said animal(s) in other homes or places with other individuals. I also understand that Blackjack Animal Rescue may terminate the agreement at any time and I will return all animals to Blackjack Animal Rescue upon their request.

 

3. Blackjack Animal Rescue will be responsible for adopting and screening said animal for adoption. I may help in this process if I so desire, but the rescue will make the decision on the final placement.

 

3. If an animal dies in my care, I will provide any other foster animals in my care to Blackjack Animal Rescue for monitoring for illness or isolation as needed.

 

3. I agree that Blackjack Animal Rescue is not liable for any injuries, damages, liabilities, losses, judgements, costs or expenses whatsoever that I might suffer or sustain in connection with my visits to an adoption event, foster home, vet or while providing foster care in my home.

 

I agree to hold harmless Blackjack Animal Rescue from any direct or consequential damages arising out of this foster care agreement.
